Aside from that, things are going to get busy as of Monday up until around Thanksgiving evening, so... yeah. Some extra cleaning around the house (since my Mom will be out of town from Sunday to Tuesday), having to help with dinner a little on the day of Thanksgiving, and working on my Thanksgiving GWIC special, so... yeah.

I don't know why, though, but through the week, I slowly went from depressed and annoyed to calm and somewhat motivated to do just about anything.

I feel like making a few videos and even writing something or two (and it has a small chance of actually happening!).

Whatever it is, though, I just feel like... doing whatever with no shame whatsoever.

You know, it's quite funny.

I recently got another 12-chain, and this time it was in an actual match. Granted, it was in free battle, but at least it wasn't five in the morning. Heck, I wish koretetsu saw it! Gotta keep plugging away, though!

Then I decided to play the minigames in the Legendary Starfy and found myself rather addicted to Dumpling Master. Current record is 40 dumplings. I wonder if anyone can top that. ;-)

And then I come across something like this. Falzar was kind enough to send this my way because I was suffering through my day of hell on Monday. I really needed it, but what I just found is... well... Oh, my god.

Aside from just finding out that was an official soundtrack, look at the release date.

Now, if you recall, which one of these was released the day after?

A. Sonic Unleashed
B. Puyo Puyo 7
C. Pokemon Platinum

Guess that question wrong, and I'll hate you for life. ;-P

However, here's a hint for those of you who get worse memory lapses than I do: there will be a Wii version of the game in question on the 26th of this month, and the soundtrack of the game will be out by December 11th. Yeah, I practically gave it away.

Now if you excuse me, I'll be wonder how fate can be so messed up playing more Dumpling Master before I go to bed.

Other than that, here's my To-Do list for the week:
-Do some cleaning
-Figure out some alternative to get some driving done since my dad is rather sick (and has been sick for a while)
-Fill out an application that I've been keeping for over a week
-Start getting ready for GWIC eps 14 and 15 since BOTH of them are expected to be up next week
-Plan out GWIC finale

On a random note, I have 32 Stars in Mario 64. I SO did not know that Toads give away free stars, but the thing is that I'll be needing 18 more in order to continue my Bowser chase. Maybe I should record myself getting the first star of this and have myself go ballistic afterwards. Hey, sooner or later, you'll have to see what I have to go through when I play this game, and LJ entry probably wouldn't cut it! Won't you Mario fans get a laugh out of that.

If there's anything I do in any Pokemon game, it's catching some sort of staple of my team. You know, the one I almost never put in the PC Boxes and have their share of users. One of these staples is, of course, the cat Pokemon. Meowth was one of my main Pokes in Gens I and II, Skitty did a good job of filling that spot the time Meowth was absent (and always with Meowth once I CAN get one in R/S/E), and now Glameow's throw into the mix thanks to Gen IV.

The stories, however, are usually the same. Meowth would know Pay Day, and Skitty would also share that move if it weren't for the fact that I need Pokemon Box and have to put in 500 Pokémon from one game (which is why I am SO grateful to Falzar for Misora, who's now a Delcatty). As for Glameow, well... experience concerning that is limited due to the fact that, unlike the last three gens, it'll be a really dumb idea to reset your game after beating the main story and doing a few post-story things (that is, if you own a hard copy of the game).

But back on topic, Meowth is the money-maker with Pay Day, Skitty can hold her own with Return once, and Glameow would use Scratch (or Slash). In case they are Ghost-types around, however, all three of 'em can thankfully learn Faint Attack... and it never misses. ;-)

In the days of Gen III where we had games like Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness and Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen, Meowth and Skitty became regular staples when I could use them together. Granted, I was a bit annoyed that Meowth couldn't show his face in Emerald or Skitty can't show up in FR and LG (and Meowth is available in BOTH?! Holy crap!) until AFTER the Elite Four, but I could at least get away with it in Ruby and Sapphire. I've also threw in Chikorita (since that's my favorite starter, as most of you know) and Vulpix (who you can only get ALL THE WAY AT MT. PYRE), but that's a different story. I unfortunately can't be bothered to live that experience again because my copy of Pokemon Box got stolen. I can run through Pokemon XD and attempt to get Meowth and Delcatty through that method, but I have to beat the main story of the game to trade. Oh, well. To be honest, I'd like to play it again (though I'll play Colosseum for the heck of it).

Dang it. I'm getting off the topic again.

So, Gen IV came around and we have a new cat: Glameow. Aside from the fact that 493 Pokemon is rather much (it's bad enough that I have a handful of Pokemon I pay a lot of attention as it is!) and there was quite a few changes (Meowth now learns Pay Day at Level 30... WHY?), it mostly became evident in my Platinum game.

On the subject of Platinum, I finally got Surf, so I'll be doing some poking around the region before moving on to the next Gym. Also, I'll take this time to level up my back up Pokemon to Level 35-40 and evolve Starfy in the progress, though he won't be in action for a while. In fact, I'll mostly level up Amitie (now an Infernape) since she'll be useful for the next Gym and the one after that. As for the others... hmm... Rosamo have be useful since Canalave and Snowpoint have something she can handle (the former have Steelix and Bastiodon, and the latter has Piloswine), and Crystal (and Starfy now that I think about it) can handle a few of Candice's Pokes. Now, for Ms. Accord and Strenko... I don't think there's anything for them. There MIGHT be something for the Elite Four, but due to the fact that I have more restrictions in Platinum than I did in Pearl (and Cynthia having various types doesn't help at ALL), that's going to be hard. Oh, well. I'll cross that bridge when I get to it.

In the meantime... yeah. Lots of leveling to do. Good lord... @_@;

Okay, so I've just got done playing Mario 64. Have 28 Stars as of now. Whomp's Fortress is done, and I've got one more star to go in Jolly Roger Bay... though, I can't seem to get said star even though it's in plain sight.

I'll check the Super Mario Wiki for this.

Other than that, things are going kinda slow (though that's been going on a LOT lately since I have almost nothing to do). Yes, there is something I'm working on this coming Friday (and for those of you who know me, you should know why. And no, it has nothing to do with butchering crossing Puyo Puyo 7 with Rhythm Heaven's soundtrack although this song is put for consideration), but other than that, I haven't been in the mood to make any new videos.

So, I decided to try something new: I'm going to do a couple of impromptu playthroughs of a couple of levels of two SNES games. One is a game that I've played long ago but never bothered to finish and the other you won't know for a while because that'll be your Christmas present alongside the final episode of Gaming with Ida-chan.

So, yeah. Other than that and a somewhat likely chance that I'll make the second episode of YouTube Poop Hell, there's not really much you can expect from me in terms of videos.

And closing things on a random note, I'm annoyed that this isn't on the Rhythm Tengoku soundtrack. I mean, ALL of the Rhythm Tengoku Gold Remixes are on there, but only some of 'em from the first game made it. Good lord. XP

Okay, so I've played a bit of Mario 64 and have 24 stars at this point. This took me forever to figure out, but it's been done. Oh, and I came across some secret swimming area where you have to get the eight red coins. Yeah...

But anyway, now I've got to figure out how the heck to get to that caged island in Whomp's Fortress. Hmmm... *reads article*

So, anyway, I was on the Super Mario Wiki when I noticed this entry as a featured article. Reading through it and seeing the name Wizpig, I was like "Wait. Is that who I think it is?". So I looked around on YouTube, and...



Yes. I've seen this game in action before long ago. I was in sixth grade and the guys used to bring video game systems in. It was how I got to know NiGHTS (though that's a grade earlier), Bust-a-Groove, and a few other games. I'm getting the feeling that I'll get getting this soon like I own Bust-a-Groove a good 10 or so years later (though, unlike BaG, I had some prior experience with this. Limited, but still).

Boy, did I miss out on a lot. But sadly, that's the story of my life.

But back to the subject on hand, I was surprised that you had to fight that pig AGAIN.



For the sake of sparing you guys, I'm going to let my rage out now so that you can have a vague idea of how much pain I'll likely have to suffer when I play it for myself.

Ahem.

I THOUGH MARIO 64 WAS PAINFUL, BUT THIS... THIS IS JUST... ARGH! THIS IS BASICALLY WHAT EVERY FINAL BOSS THAT EXISTED WANTED TO BE BUT COULDN'T! HEY, I BET MEMORY OF ALL PEOPLE WOULD HAVE TROUBLE AGAINST THIS GUY, AND SHE HAS SHOOTING WEAPONS (since she's from a shooting game, mind you) BUT STILL! THIS IS MADNESS!

I want to be wrong in making that statement, but I'm getting the feeling I'm not once I actually play it.

Other than that, it was another slow Saturday.

In other news, I've came across the soundtrack for Minna de Puyo Puyo/Puyo Pop. This may sound like an odd story, but back when I first played it, I had no clue that the music came from somewhere else until I came across Puyo Puyo Tsu. After hearing the unused tunes, however, it hit me like a ton of bricks that Puyo Puyo Tsu's music has practically been used all over the place... but then again, it IS one of the more famous games in the series and even set the stage for Puyo's competitive side (and a few other things). Now if only I can make ten and eleven chains as often in Compile's games as I do in Puyo 7...

About the job stuff, I was too late in getting there on time, but I'll try again tomorrow.

As for the mall, aside from handing in a few copies of my resume (thank goodness I had leftover copies from the job fair!) and coming across some stores that WERE hiring but ran out of applications (what the crap?!), I couldn't help but noticed one thing...

The EB Games at my mall were closed (both of 'em, in fact), but there is now a GameStop that's still not too far from where my dad usually parks. I went in to check it out, and lo and behold...

...a copy of Rhythm Heaven.

There's got to some higher power practically demanding me to get that game despite my needing to stay the hell away from that thing (and koretetsu agrees with that. I'm STILL surprised that video weirded him out that much! XD)... though I am kinda tempted to at least play the GBA version once in my life.

Aside from that, I heard that there's a hurricane named after me. I didn't find the Wiki article on it, but I DID find a couple of news articles on it.

I can't help but feel this is some sort of sign, but I'm going to say the same thing I said on GWizard's channel (since he brought it up):

"Sweet lord. First, a mountain... now, a hurricane. That's quite something! XD"

If there's something like a hurricane Feli, I'm going to go nuts (moreso than usual!)

I'm going to go to a couple of places (specifically the mall and one of the places that was mentioned at the job fair last month) to apply for some jobs tomorrow. I know that having no work experience will be a major disadvantage for me, but then again, the holiday season IS approaching so I should have a shot. Here's hoping that I don't get ANOTHER fake job, though. -_-;

And for some odd reason, I want to talk about the Lake Trio in Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum.

One major thing? I have a lot of issues that need immediate attention (if it's not one issue in need of attention more than others). However, if I can only pick one, I'd change the fact that I'm so thin-skinned that it isn't funny. I came across this article, though, but I won't be relying on that alone.
